Labor Day Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum

There’s no better place to spend a holiday than at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Enjoy $2 hot dogs and root beer floats as you take in the gorgeous scenery all weekend long. To celebrate the kickoff of college football, the Arboretum will show the Texas Tech/Ole Miss game on Saturday, The Blind Side on Sunday and Rudy on Monday.

If you love good beer and live music, then Deep Ellum Brewing Company’s 7th Annual Labor of Love will be right up your alley. This popular festival features 30 teams vying for the title of the best homebrewed beer. Tickets must be purchased in advance online.
