Great Communities in Dallas/Fort Worth

Dallas/Fort Worth has become a hot spot for relocating home buyers. There are many great communities to feel right at home in.

The Metroplex has become a hot spot for home buyers relocating in recent years, whether for work, school, life changes, family needs, or a chance to live in the Lone Star State. And the DFW Metroplex is planning to continue its growth well into 2022. With so many fantastic neighborhoods, amenities, entertainment options, award-winning school districts, and cost of living in Texas, it’s no wonder. There are many great communities around DFW where you feel right at home.

A COMMUNITY FOR ALL

Each community offers different attributes, so you can choose what fits you best. In Northern DFW, you’ll find cities like DentonFrisco or McKinney to name a few. Known for its college scene and young professionals, the sale price of homes in Denton during January 2022 averaged under $360k while the median sales price in Frisco was $625k.

Arlington and Mansfield can be found in the Southern region of DFW, with median sales prices under $310k or $420k, respectively. These two areas’ differential in home values can be attributed to the community amenities each city has to offer. Arlington remains a coveted place to live due to its large entertainment district and sports teams. Despite being close to DFW, Mansfield’s growth includes many newer homes and a smaller community feel.

With Rockwall and Dallas – Lake Highlands in Eastern DFW, Rockwall offers a median home sales price of $430k and Dallas – Lake Highlands at just over $760k. From the hometown feel of Rockwall and the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard to the close-knit urban community of Lake Highlands, each offers unique features to fit your lifestyle.

Weatherford and North Fort Worth – Alliance are found in the Western area of DFW with $346k to $327k median home sale prices. This area seems to be the most consistently priced. Both named areas have experienced much growth in recent years. While Weatherford has maintained a rural feel, the North Fort Worth – Alliance area is a bustling employment hub for the branches of more than 70 Fortune 500 companies, such as Facebook, Mercedes Benz Financial Services, Amazon, BNSF Railway, and Charles Schwab. From farm and ranch to city life, the home price range is affordable depending on the community.

In the Southeastern area of DFW, Ellis County’s Ennis and Waxahachie offer beautiful sceneries and tight-knit community feels – making them great places to call home. Both towns host popular festivals celebrated by the entire DFW Metroplex and more. Enjoy gorgeous views at Ennis’s Bluebonnet Trails & Festival or Czech heritage at the Polka Festival. Keep the celebration going over in Waxahachie at the famous Scarborough Renaissance Festival or its annual Crape Myrtle Festival.
