It’s beginning to look (and feel) a lot like Christmas across Dallas-Fort Worth! Lights have been hung, trees adorned and presents wrapped in preparation for Old Saint Nick. While we patiently wait, what better way to get in the holiday spirit than seeing some of our favorite Christmas light displays in DFW?
Dallas Zoo Lights
You do not want to miss this brand-new holiday celebration! After the animals turn in for the evening, the Dallas Zoo transforms into a winter wonderland of nearly 1 million lights. From 5-9 PM, guests can enjoy 3D light sculptures, warm winter treats and children’s activities.
The 12 Days of Christmas
Find yourself in The 12 Days of Christmas brought to life at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Stroll through 12 Victorian-style gazebos inspired by the classic Christmas carol, open both during the day and at night. New this year at the Arboretum is the enchanting Pauline and Austin Neuhoff Christmas Village.
Holiday in the Park
If you’re feeling adventurous this season, then the annual Six Flags Over Texas celebration is for you! Ride some of your favorite rides while taking in beautiful light displays and delicious foods like s’mores, hot chocolate and Christmas-themed funnel cakes.
Prairie Lights
Stay warm and cozy as you drive through this breathtaking path of four million lights in Grand Prairie. Make sure you stop at the Holiday Village and check out the new Indoor Holiday Show and the Holiday Magic Lighted Walk-Through Forest.
Lone Star Christmas
There’s fun for all ages at the Gaylord Texan’s seasonal celebration. You won’t want to skip the popular walk-through attraction “ICE!” featuring two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures and five ice slides inspired by A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Vitruvian Lights
Located in Addison’s Vitruvian Park, this remarkable display of lights is a must-see for people across DFW. Take a dazzling stroll with your loved ones through the park starting November 29 through January 1.
Christmas in the Square
Celebrating its 15th year, this Frisco Square celebration is home to the largest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas. Navigate the Christmas Tree Maze, ice skate the Square, ride a horse-drawn carriage and get a picture with Santa Claus himself.
